E.M. Davey

E.M. Davey is a 39-year-old Special Correspondent at the Associated Press, where he works to hold vast corporations to account for their environmental crimes and their contribution to climate change. Before that he was an investigative reporter at the BBC for a number of years, working on exposés for programmes such as Panorama and Newsnight. His thrillers (Foretold by Thunder, The Napoleon Complex, The Killing Gene) mash up history, 21st century espionage and meticulous research, blurring the lines between reality and fiction. He has taught creative writing with the Wilbur & Niso Smith foundation, while his journalism and writing have taken him to some far-flung countries. He once got charged by an enraged hippopotamus and had to climb a tree to escape.
