Ian MooreΒ is a leading stand-up comedian, known for his sharp, entertaining punditry, who regularly headlines at Londonβs world-famous Comedy Store. A TV/radio regular, he stars in Daveβs satirical TV show Unspun and Channel 5βs topical comedy Big Mouths. Ian lives in rural France and commutes back to the UK every week. In his spare time, he makes mean chutneys and jams.

@libbythescribbler and @indiepublishermatt had a ball swanning around London bookshops signing copies of Spider, Spider and meeting the booksellers championing her new novel.
After getting their 20,000 steps in, they enjoyed a well deserved cocktail or two (or three???) to mark the occasion with editor @clare_bullock and agent @emilyglenisterbooks - dream team!

How fabulous was last nightβs @indies_alliance spring showcase? Oodles of talented authors mingling with the great and the good of UK bookselling.
Copies of Iβll be the Monster were on display and went fast, snapped up on the promise of a sensational new voice and a lavish quote from @lucyrose (cannot thank her enough!).
Weβre grateful to be part of the Alliance where like minded publishers can closely collaborate to do the hard work of championing literary voices that might otherwise never get their shot at publishing.
Events like these show how much joy and opportunity still exists for indie publishers and bookshops in an increasingly challenging economic landscape.
